Seeing Through the Pain
We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret or disappointment. Nothing lasts-not even pain. As you gain momentum, you will begin to see through the pain. The body-builder still feels pain, even when they are consistent because of the added resistance they choose to put on themselves every time they workout in order to get more muscle mass. They have now learned to see through the pain. In the same way, the entrepreneur who sets out on his/her journey of success goes through various obstacles. The only difference is that, they are now experienced enough in overcoming challenges, that they are ready for the next one. The challenges don't disillusion them from their promises anymore. At this point, the promise is stronger than the price and they are willing to pay any price. This article describes the vision of the person that you will become when you set your mind to become a learner under all circumstances. Once you have overcome an obstacle, you grow and are ready to tackle greater obstacles. In order for the bodybuilder to be successful in achieving his/her goal of the ultimate physique, as well as the level of fitness desired, it is important that they see through the pain; they have to see past the short-term temporary pain in order to get the long-term physique and health that they are looking for. In the very same way, the person who wants to be successful in any venture will have to see past the disciplines ? the pain? that they have to go through, in order to reap the rewards of that discipline. If the pain is all you can think about, then you will not take action. Go beyond the pain. See beyond the pain to the wide expanse of success that lies before you. Success is waiting for you to pick it up. Will you? Sukhbir Singh is the Founder of LifeApps! Personal Development International Co., Ltd based in Bangkok, Thailand. Your Biggest Do it Yourself Project When I meet people and tell them what I do, I often hear, "Oh, you are a motivational speaker," with some amount of assuredness in their voice. While I realize there are many speakers that people lump into this category (some who are my friends and mentors), I strongly disagree with that label. The New Morality In a world where dynamism alters egos and principles in a man every second, where men divest in tenets that secure them from being devout to something natural, where humanity seeks reasons to be ignorant just to feel sly and intelligent ? we're confronted with issues of morality. We can no longer be satisfied with being truthful incessantly, we can no longer be happy for the sake of empathizing, we can no longer be sympathetic in a world that beseeches us to be methodological, we can no longer be human when the invariable pretension has made us lose our ethicality forever ? we can only choose to be different moralists altogether. Succinctly ? we need a new morality. How To Get Through A Bad Day No matter how hard you try to make them otherwise, some days are just awful. They start off bad, they never get any better, and they end on a low and sometimes even gloomier note. These days befuddle your mind, waste your finite resources and throw your calendar off. Some people call the state of mind accompanying this day 'depression' or are content to simply think of it as 'having a bad day'. Sometimes there are logical explanations ? mostly, though, these days seem to strike at will and we don't understand how or why they have entered our lives.
