How to Change Your Negative Reality
It is often taken for granted that the reality tomorrow will be the same as today. But the fact is it changes constantly, imperceptibly without even our realizing that the reality has changed. The inability to grasp the changing reality is perhaps the single most important reason leading one to failures. While we blame the luck, the stars, government policies or the economy, it is an undeniable fact that the blame squarely lies on our inability to grasp the changing reality. Time and space are not static concepts. They are in constant dynamic motion. And with the time and space our past and future change constantly. Then how is it that we do not realize the change? And how could past change? The reason is very simple. We view our past in a two dimensional state which we observe. We do not see the third dimension of interacting forces set in motion by our the past which is constantly creating new futures. We may call this the non physical dimension. There is a distinct potential of creating alternative futures of our choice once we recognize and interpret this non physical dimension To explain the concept in very simple term let us look at an accident occurring in front of you and your colleague. Both are viewing the same event. But when it is recounted the versions are very different, the emotions are different, the outcome is different. The reality is different for the same event occurring at the same time for two different people. The reality could change for the same person as well, the way one interprets the event. The non physical past itself is different for two people with the same event. The physical event is the same. But the more important non physical reality of the same event has set in motion forces which are going to shape our future. We also have the choice to change the non physical past of any event in the way we look at the event. And this is what we call beliefs. Beliefs are our interpretation of past experiences and how we look at the experience. Generally we hold the past events in a fixed image. Today is the same as yesterday. This minute is the same as the next. One meals is the same as the next and the beliefs get fixed in our mind and this where we are sacrificing the creative freedom to change our reality. Every moment is different and unique. Even every event itself has many hues of reality. Today's events cannot be looked at in comparison with similar past event. The comparable event of the past can at best be a tool for recognition and not for judgment or decision. And realizing this process of changing reality can empower us - put the power to change our world as we please. To change our reality we therefore must do two things. First we must look at and examine all our beliefs which is the non physical part of our past and change the beliefs which are holding us back. This will help us to remove the negativities of the past and focus only on the positive events and positive beliefs. Secondly you must believe that you are living in a world which though ever changing can still be shaped the way you want it to be. This puts the creative power of choice in your hands to shape your destiny. You create your world. So take the step now of creating a world which you want and not a world which others want for you. Because your reality is very different from others. You have been doing this somewhat unconsciously right from the time you were born. Unfortunately the social conditioning made you believe otherwise. You were told you were the product of everything else except your own choices So now let us restore that choice and start changing our reality from this moment on. R.G. What is fear's purpose? How do you handle it? While I am working in my pest control business, I meet people on an almost daily basis who are influenced by negative fear thoughts regarding pests invading their premises. A good size spider, rat, or unexpected insect can set someone off pretty quickly, and literally immobilize them. It consumes their thoughts to the point where they have trouble thinking about anything else. The ONE Question Winners ALWAYS Ask?. Over the past several years I have experienced my fair share of success. However, it has not been without its fair share of obstacles and setbacks. If we want to fill our heads with the doom and gloom society seems to thrive on, all we need to do is turn on the local news at night. To make that quantum leap toward personal happiness and success in life, sometimes we just need to do what so many people seem to be talking about lately: "clean house" and take personal inventory of the people we associate with most. Maintaining Your Motivation I recently spoke to a group of sales professionals at the end of their training conference. The attendees had participated in many learning sessions over a two day period ? most of which were product related. I was scheduled to speak after dinner and I was somewhat concerned how attentive they would be by this time. Do It Now! If It Feels Good, It Must Be Right Copyright © 2003 Priya Shah Rebirth from the Ashes The legend of the phoenix can actually be found in several belief systems. It can be traced back to ancient Egypt when it was then known as "Bennu" or Bynw", a symbol of the sun god Osiris. Osiris was resurrected to life from serving as ruler of the underworld. Whether this mystical bird is attributed to the Chinese "Feng-huang", the Jewish "Milcham" or even an emblem of Christ, the legend remains the same? After serving its life cycle, the phoenix builds a nest and then by the sun and the friction of its own wings, is consumed by fire. It is inevitably reborn from the very ashes. The phoenix is therefore symbolic of resurrection, immortality, and my personal favourite - triumph over adversity. I has been said repeatedly that there are two types of people in this world: "marathoners" and "sprinters". Both are ambitious at heart. They set a goal and will pursue it zealously. The only difference is that a sprinter expects to see immediate results and if they do not receive those results, they may get discouraged and give up all together. A marathoner on the other hand, can get side tracked, knocked down, and trampled on, but will refocus and redirect when necessary in order to meet their ultimate goal. For example, a woman who had planned to lose thirty pounds in three months may be disappointed upon realizing that after the first month, she has only lost six. She had obviously expected to see faster results. But if that same woman takes into consideration that she is more toned or has more stamina, she may alter her official goal. She may decide "I want to go down a few dress sizes", or "I want to be able to incorporate fitness and nutrition into my lifestyle permanently." Along the way, she may miss a few morning jogs or go off her so-called diet, but above all, she is patient with herself. Patience is essential. It's important to accept that results are not always immediate. Sometimes, they aren't even tangible. But by just going through the necessary steps, you are on your way, whether you realize it or not. Afterall, the journey of 1000 miles begins with one step. Accepting that the process is slow will likely prevent you from giving up. By altering your original goal, you haven't fallen short. You've simply become aware enough to realize when and where to strategize. It is very important not to perceive set-backs as failures. Coming down hard on yourself can even crush your spirit. Within your spirit lies your innermost dreams, desires, and your attitude toward life. It was Benjamin Franklin who said, "Some people die at twenty-five and aren't buried until they are seventy-five". Some of us passively sit back and watch the rest of life go on because we feel we have had too many set-backs or let-downs to furthur pursue our dreams. Then there are those of us who have felt defeated at one point, but after getting side-tracked, knocked down, and trampled upon, rise up more determined to succeed than ever.
